Logistics Supervisor

1. Logistics Planning and Strategy

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.
• Design and oversee logistics operations, including inspections, packaging, order fulfillment, and transportation/shipping.
• Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Work with production to identify needs and schedule accordingly demo requirements

1. Operations Management

• Monitor and manage day-to-day logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
• Coordinate with productions and internal customers (hubs) to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Supervise and manage relationships with third-party providers (couriers and freight forwarders).
• Handle and manage complaint issues raised by the internal customers

1. Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics associates.
• Set performance goals for the logistics team and ensure they are met.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and employee development.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Track and analyze key logistics metrics, such as transit times, transportation or shipping costs, and turnover rates.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into logistics performance and areas for improvement.
• Use logistics data to reduce lead times and improve overall efficiency.

1. Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as productions, finance, customers (hubs), and internal departments.
• Record and prepare reports for issue encountered to be raised properly and discussed during quarterly business review with service providers
• Manage and resolve any issues related to shipping or delivery.

1. Budgeting and Cost Control

• Manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Monitor expenses and identify areas to reduce costs without compromising service quality.
• Ensure the organization is using cost-effective transport and warehousing solutions.

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• 7 years in logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments is required.
• Additional certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is an advantage.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
