Procurement Specialist

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company goals and objectives

Sourcing, Negotiation and Cost Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts
• Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to ensure competitiveness
• Develop and manage procurement budgets to achieve cost-saving targets

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Proactively monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews

Risk Management:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement effective risk mitigation strategies in the supply chain
• Lead the establishment of an approved pool of suppliers ensuring resilience through multi-sourcing
• Ensure compliance to company policies and government regulations (i.e. FDA requirements)

Procurement Process Oversight:

• Supervise the end-to-end procurement process, from order placement to delivery, and maintain accurate records

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Brand, Finance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless procurement operations

Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, quality, and

sustainability.

Work setup and expectations:

• Hybrid work set-up, 3x a week in-office, 2x a week work from home. Office is in Sucat, Paranaque
• Flexi-time - work when you want, where you want as long as you are present by 9am during in-office days, drive results and you are responsive to messages
• Output-based but expected to attend all required meetings
• Punctuality with deadlines, projects, and meetings
• Start date: as soon as possible
