Job Summary:
A Sales Associate is a good team player, as the role requires collaboration for optimal customer satisfaction and to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations. Sales associates are also flexible and willing to perform a wide range of tasks as determined by Retail Supervisors.
They need self-confidence and the ability to advise customers and recommend products. They are also patient and have a passion for helping shoppers find what they need. Sales Associates can follow procedures correctly and are friendly and polite.They are also comfortable interacting with a wide range of people and personalities.
To ensure success, sales associates, need to have grounded problem-solving skills and an ability to think on their feet. Ultimately, an outstanding shop associate should demonstrate effective communication skills and achieve exceptional customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintaining a fully stocked store
- Recommending and displaying items that match customer needs
- Describing product features and benefits accurately
- Follow all company policies and procedures for receiving, processing, and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.
- Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
- Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.
- Addressing and professionally resolving customers’ complaints.
- Examining items and goods for any damage or breaking.
- Presentation and appearance are maintained at all times.
- Performing other related tasks advised by the immediate leader / superior, as well as other related duties to ensure the efficient and effective function operations of the company.
- Smiling and greeting customers, replenishing , fitting room assistance, putting security tags.
Qualifications:
To do well as a Sales Associate, the person we are looking for should have the following preferred qualifications:
- Preferably a 4-years college graduate or at least 2 years in college
- Preferably with at least six (6) months of work/internship experience in retail, hotel, food, or any service-related industry
- Strong customer service skills and good communication skills
- Team player and can handle work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and energetic
- Enjoys interacting with different types of people
- With a pleasing personality and hard-working
- Has the ability to work with a team
- With interest in Fashion and Retail
- Fully vaccinated with 1st and 2nd dose
Work Conditions:
- Amenable to work in Metro Manila sites
- Willing to be under probationary employment status
- Available to work during holidays and weekends
- Can render overtime work and do shifting schedules and graveyard shifts
- Can report to work on time; no tardiness
- Works for 5x / week, 2x rest days / week
