The ROLE
This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the quality management systems within an organisation. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of processes and products/services.
- Office-based | Schedule: Dayshift Monday - Friday (Saturday & Sunday Day Off)
- Assist in the development and implementation of the ISO 9001 QMS
- Support the creation and documentation of quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define quality objectives and targets.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Assist in conducting the regular internal audit made by the internal audit team.
- Identify non-conformities and work with relevant stakeholders to develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide training and support.
- Support employees in understanding and implementing ISO 9001 processes and requirements.
- Serve as a resource person for ISO 9001-related queries and provide guidance to employees.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Helps analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with teams to develop improvement plans and drive their implementation.
- Participate in management reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS and propose improvements.
- Documentation and record management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the ISO 9001 QMS.
- Ensure proper control and organization of quality records and documentation.
- Support document control activities, including document review, approval, and distribution.
- Stay updated on ISO 9001 requirements.
- Stay informed of changes in ISO 9001 standards and communicate relevant updates to the organization.
- Conduct research and participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge of quality management practices.
Other Responsibilities:
- ISO 27001:2013
- Assist in the implementation of the Information Security Management System based on ISO 27001:2013 requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess information security risks.
- Assist in conducting regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to information assets.
- Evaluate the impact and likelihood of identified risks and determine appropriate risk treatment measures.
- Assist in the maintenance of incident response procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to effectively respond to and manage security incidents.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to prevent future incidents.
- Helps in the implementation of the surveillance program particularly on auditing the time doctor.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
- Attend and contribute to internal meetings
- Promote and enhance the interests and reputation of 5 ELK
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
- Having project management experience is an advantage.
- A relevant experience in the implementation of ISO 27001 is a plus
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 is a plus.
- Certification in ISO 9001 or related quality management systems or ISO 27001 is a plus.
