Junior Cost Analyst

This position is responsible for analyzing and managing product and operating costs to support accurate costing, budgeting, and financial decision-making. The role involves conducting pre-costing reviews, monitoring cost performance against budgets, preparing cost allocations and margin analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities.

What You'll Do:

1. Perform pre-costing review and analysis.
2. Analyze operating and production costs to identify trends and variances against budget.
3. Prepare allocation drivers and costs to be used for product costing.
4. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
5. Prepare cost breakdowns, allocation schedules, and margin analysis
6. Support month-end and year-end closing activities 7. Conduct audits related costings.
7. Other related ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be a college graduate; Bachelors Degree in any business related course
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, cost allocation methodologies, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or FMCG environments is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data and provide actionable insights.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and financial reporting is an advantage.
