MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field

Related Work Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in collections, credit management, remedial or recovery work (preferably in banking or lending/financing)

Knowledge (knowledgeable in the following):
  1. Knowledge in collection, loan documentation, remedial management and recovery strategies.
  2. Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications.
  3. Sufficient knowledge in laws, regulations and remedial processes with competent authorities
Skills:
  1. Negotiation skills - handling settlements, payment arrangements or loan restructuring with clients.
  2. Communication skills - clear verbal and written communication with clients, legal counsel and internal contacts.
  3. Problem solving - developing practical solutions for delinquent accounts.
  4. Conflict management - handling sensitive or difficult client situations professionally.
  5. Customer service orientation - maintaining professionalism in dealing with clients.
  6. Time management - handling multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
  7. Attention to detail - ensuring accuracy of legal documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Recommend restructuring or repayment plan on past due and non-performing loans.
  2. Negotiate and prepares letter to creditors on repayment or compromise proposals.
  3. Conduct a documentary review of accounts endorsed for remedial action to facilitate the completion of the noted documentary deficiencies.
  4. Conduct due diligence work in coordination with Credit department such as but not limited to client visit, financial analysis, credit checking to aid in the determination of the appropriate recovery strategy.
  5. Endorse accounts to the General Manager for appropriate approval and filing of appropriate legal action.
  6. Handle the necessary documentation and related requirements for the foreclosure proceedings.
  7. Monitor loan accounts under litigation through regular communication with legal counsel to determine status and action plan.
  8. Recommend write-off accounts managed based on the company's policies and guidelines.
  9. Testify as the company's witness in court proceedings.
  10. Review and revise policies and guidelines for continuous improvement and alignment with internal and external policies.
