Logistics Assistant - Manila
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
Technical specifications: Strong grasp of logistical procedures, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
the capacity to evaluate and convert business needs into technical solutions.familiarity with warehouse management best practices, system connections, and improvements.
familiarity with barcode integration, RF scanning, and warehouse automation.
Ideally with expertise in third-party logistics (3PL) integration and transportation management.
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Being prepared to work on-site: Ortigas, Pasig.
Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare and issue accurate invoices for shipments, ensuring all charges (e.g., freight, customs fees, duties, and handling fees) are properly accounted for.
Verify billing accuracy by comparing shipping documents, invoices, and contracts.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing discrepancies with customers and vendors.
Maintain records of billing and payment transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
Customer Service:
Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments, invoicing, or product deliveries.
Responsibilities: Set up SAP modules for supply chain, logistics, and warehousing operations.
Work together with interested parties to examine business procedures and convert them into SAP best practices.Give knowledgeable advice on how to improve logistics preparation, control of inventory, and warehouse management.
Facilitate end-to-end integration with more SAP S/4 HANA scopes, including transportation management, warehouse management, inventory management, and extended warehouse management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree: Customs, Industrial Engineering or related courses.
At least 1 year of experience in Warehousing/Logistics.
Willing to work onsite in Ortigas. HYBRID upon regularization.
