Sales representative & Estimator

Sales & Client Relations
  • Promptly follow up on all incoming leads (calls, website inquiries, referrals, emails, social media).
  • Conduct initial client consultations to understand project needs, scope, and budget.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track and update all client interactions in the company CRM or sales tracking system.
  • Nurture relationships with past clients and develop referral opportunities.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and local business meetups (as assigned).
Estimating & Proposals
  • Review project details, drawings, or site visits to create accurate estimates.
  • Break down costs for labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead.
  • Apply company’s profit margin guidelines when preparing proposals.
  • Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors for updated pricing.
  • Prepare clear, client-facing proposals outlining scope, pricing, and timelines.
  • Revise estimates promptly when changes or client requests occur.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing trends and local market rates.
Follow-Up & Closing
  • Actively follow up with clients after sending estimates to address questions and encourage closing.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with professionalism, balancing client needs and company profit goals.
  • Handoff signed contracts and project details to operations/production teams for execution.
  • Track closing rates and provide weekly reports on leads, estimates, and contracts closed.
Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with the owner and operations team to align sales efforts with project capacity.
  • Coordinate with marketing on promotions and campaigns to support lead generation.
  • Provide feedback from clients and prospects to improve services, pricing, and customer experience.
  • Submit weekly sales pipeline reports, including leads, proposals sent, follow-ups, and closed deals.
