Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the assigned product or product line, including features, benefits, target audience, and competitive landscape.
  2. Sales and Promotion: Implement strategies to increase product sales and achieve revenue targets. This includes creating attractive product displays, organizing promotional events, and training retail staff on product features and selling techniques.
  3. Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product demonstrations, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor product inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate with the purchasing or merchandising team to ensure optimal stock availability. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and conduct regular inventory audits.
  5. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities related to the assigned product line. Provide insights and recommendations to management for product improvements, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns.
  6. Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPls), sales metrics, and market analysis. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  7. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for retail staff to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service skills. Continuously update training materials to ensure alignment with product updates and industry developments.
  8. Collaborative Relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, purchasing, and operations, to ensure effective product launches, promotional campaigns, and seamless execution of retail initiatives.
  9. Customer Feedback and Support: Act as a point of contact for customer feedback, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing after-sales support. Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and brand loyalty.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a product-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales targets
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
