Accounting Supervisor

About the role

As the Accounting Supervisor at Alto Audio Design Center, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes. Based in Iloilo, Western Visayas, this full-time position will see you working closely with the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other key financial documents.

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of the accounting team, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are followed
2. Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
3. Overseeing the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring proper recording and timely payments
4. Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts to maintain accurate records
5. Liaising with external auditors and providing support during the audit process
6. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices
8. Providing financial analysis and insights to support the leadership team's decision-making

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
2. At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting or finance function
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
5. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
6. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the finance team and other stakeholders
