About the role
JRBuilders Company Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and contractors on construction sites.This full-time position is a vital component of our commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance within the construction industry.
What you'll be doing- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
- Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices
- Providing guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to safety activities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address safety risks
- Proficient in the use of safety management software and data analysis tools
- Possess a valid Safety Officer certification or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
