Job Description

The Data Apprentice is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the system in terms of data, analyzing the problem, and figuring out a solution under the supervision of experienced team members. The role involves assisting in process analysis and documentation. The apprentice will develop foundational skills while contributing to support and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and governance.

Duties and Tasks

Assist in supporting the daily tasks involving in Data SQLs and CSV Feeds under supervision
Document if there any necessary that needs to document
Perform Analysis and Solution
Ensure adherence to governance, security policies and best practices.
Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve minor software issues.
Participate in continuous learning and training programs related to Data tools and technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Basic understanding of programming or scripting (e.g. Python, Java) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt best coding practices

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of programing languages such as Java, Python, and SQL (Oracle SQL is an advantage)
Understanding version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity to Linux commands and Jenkins
Familiarity to SFTP Tools and Lens is an advantage

Work Condition

Working Set Up - Hybrid
Working Schedule - Shifting (Regular and Mid)
960 hours or equivalent of 6 months contract
