Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ)
Review plans and specifications for cost computation
Monitor project expenses and cost variations
Prepare progress billings and evaluate subcontractor claims
Conduct quantity take-offs and material costing
Assist in tender preparation and bid evaluation
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Prepare reports on project costs and financial status
Ensure compliance with company policies and contract requirements
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients
Prepare final accounts and project close-out reports
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materialsExcellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, or similar)
Good communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Understanding of contract law and construction regulations
