 A.  Gathers information about patient’s condition, taking vital signs and assist them in their needs
 B.  Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
 C.  Interview patients in order to complete documents, case histories, and forms such as intake, HMO/ insurance forms
 D.  Writes the diagnosis of the patients after they are seen by the physician in the result entry form
 E.  Collects payments after patient’s consultation; record and remits doctor’s professional fee accordingly; monitors account receivables. Initiating collection calls and reminders
 F.  Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
 G.  Keeps office equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
 H.  Perform basic bookkeeping duties, such as credit & collection.
 I.  Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries and medical consultations.
 J.  Represents physicians by screening incoming telephone calls; recording and transmitting messages; scheduling, receiving, and announcing scheduled patients and visitors; screening unscheduled patients and visitors; arranging referrals to other health care providers; scheduling appointments for consultations, x-rays, lab tests, physical therapy, MRI's, CT scans, etc.
 K.  Ensures physician productivity by maintaining calendars; scheduling patient appointments; physician consultations; professional meetings, conferences;
 K.  Compile and record medical charts. Records patient’s attendance/ visits in the logbook
 L.  Receive and route messages and documents such as laboratory/radiological imaging results to appropriate staff
 M.  Greet doctors, patients, visitors and direct them to appropriate staff. Gives necessary instructions to patients as needed
 N.  Prepares daily and monthly census regularly
 O.  Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
 P.  Maintains and observe cleanliness in respective working area and reports breakage/damage/defects in the consultation room and or in area of responsibility
 Q.  Reports on-duty promptly

 R.  Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

graduate of Caregiver NC2, Practical Nursing or graduate of any allied courses
