Job Overview

INTAQ Foods Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of meat products throughout storage, handling, and distribution processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, monitoring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitor and record storage temperatures for chilled and frozen meat products.
• Conduct quality inspections of incoming, stored, and outgoing products.
• Verify product quality, labeling accuracy, shelf life, and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards, including GMP and HACCP.
• Monitor proper handling, storage, and cold chain management practices.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate QA records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Assist in internal audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality assurance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, cold storage, or quality assurance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work onsite in Mandaue City, Cebu.

• Experience in meat quality inspection, grading, or processing operations.
• Knowledge of product traceability, shelf-life monitoring, and cold chain management.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Experience handling food safety audits and compliance requirements.
