Assistant Accounting Manager | Onsite | Tagaytay

We are currently assisting a client in the search for a suitable and highly capable Assistant Accounting Manager. This key role will report directly to the Finance and Accounting Head.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily finance and accounting functions, including general accounting, AP, AR, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Income Statement variance analysis (actual vs. budget, current vs. prior periods).
• Review and verify accounts payable, disbursements, payroll, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general and subsidiary ledger accounts.
• Act as the Point-of-Contact for external parties, including auditors, banks, and the BIR.
• Lead, coach, and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Recommend and maintain internal control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
