Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role is best suited for accounting professionals with a strong technical background and experience in the travel management industry, particularly in handling foreign currency transactions and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities- Assist the Accounting Manager in managing daily accounting operations
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports
- Monitor and process foreign exchange transactions across multiple countries
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with BIR and statutory requirements
- Analyze financial data and support management decision-making
- Improve accounting systems, workflows, and reporting processes
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff
- Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, or any related course
- CPA preferred but not mandatory
- Must have experience in a travel agency or travel management environment
- Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting procedures
- Familiarity with foreign exchange and multi-currency accounting
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
