About the role
Anvic Construction Philippines Incorporated, a leading construction firm in the region, is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of our construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and quality requirements.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to effectively plan, organise, and monitor construction activities on-site
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Oversee the quality of construction work and materials used, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation, daily reports, and budget tracking
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure seamless project delivery
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, mentoring and developing junior engineers as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with project management software and construction management tools
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or a licensed Electrical Engineer in the Philippines
