- Participates in the preparation and development of the project plans, drawings, specifications, material requirements, cost estimates, and target dates.
- Prepares the schedule of activities with the corresponding manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Prepares request for materials and equipment needed for the planned/scheduled activities and submits to the proper support functions according to the set lead times.
- Disseminates the Project Plans to subordinates and subcontractors to promote awareness and proper work coordination.
- Analyses and assesses the viability of the set target dates of the project and disseminates findings and recommendations to superiors and other concerned functions.
- Reviews actual delivery performance of materials and equipment provided by the support functions vis-à-vis the current project schedules.
- Monitors work progress and reports deviations and/or changes in plans.
- Prepares and submits the pertinent Status, Progress, and Accomplishment Reports of the assigned project.
- Updates the Project Plan along with the manpower, materials, and equipment requirements relative to the changes, revisions, deviations, and additional works.
- Initiates coordination and follow-up actions to get results from support functions to meet set schedules.
- Reports/records additional works to the original requirements in order to update the project plan.
- Reports/records any changes/revisions/deviations to plans with the corresponding actions taken.
- Attends Progress and/or Coordination Meetings to render status reports and provide or receive updates regarding the project
- Assists superiors in attending to client’s complaints and its resolution.
- Prepares and submits Progress & Accomplishments Reports as frequently as needed or as required by the immediate superior.
- Highlights the specific needs of support and disseminates to the concerned functions for action.
- Verifies and checks Daily Time Record (DTR) for submission to payroll.
- Submits updated Weekly As-Built Drawings, Material Utilization Reports, and other reports required for project monitoring.
- Attends Contractor’s Meetings as may be directed by the superior.
- Approves accomplishment report of subcontractor and submits to Administration for billing.
- Delegates workloads to subordinates (Lead-man/Foreman/Cadet Engineer/Site Engineer) and evaluates their accomplishments for approval.
- Ensures compliance of project team to Safety and Quality Standards.
- Performs other related work as may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
