Junior Quality Assurance Tester/Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester/Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality software. By identifying issues early in the development and production lifecycle, you will help reduce risk, improve reliability, and reinforce a strong culture of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating, documenting, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document (with steps, screenshots, and expected results).
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to investigate, replicate, and resolve bugs.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile/Scrum team meetings.
• Support the creation of test documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.

Requirements:

• Has at least two (2) years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Basic understanding of software development & testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum)

Skills (Preferably but not required):

• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello).
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail).
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (SQL, HTML/CSS).
• Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium).
