Job title
- Sales Engineer
- Technical sales professional who combines product expertise and customer-facing skills to close deals, while supporting marketing initiatives to drive demand and product adoption.
- You will work closely with sales, product and marketing teams to qualify leads, deliver technical demos, design solutions, and close deals. You’ll also support marketing activities including content creation, case studies, webinars, and technical collateral to boost pipeline and product awareness.
- Conduct product demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations for prospects and customers
- Qualify technical requirements and translate them into solution proposals and quotes
- Work with sales reps to develop account strategies and support customer negotiations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution briefs, data sheets, and case studies
- Support marketing campaigns: draft blog posts, whitepapers, webinar scripts, and technical email content
- Participate in webinars, trade shows and customer events as subject-matter expert
- Collect customer feedback and relay product/feature requests to product management
- Assist in competitor analysis and market research to inform messaging and positioning
- Track and report on technical KPIs (demo-to-win rate, time-to-PoC, deal cycle length)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related role (sales/marketing exposure preferred)
- Strong understanding of [ cloud platforms, networking, SaaS, APIs]
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience creating technical content (whitepapers, datasheets, demo scripts)
- Comfortable with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), presentation tools, and collaboration platforms
- Prior B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or systems integrator experience
- Basic marketing experience: content creation, email campaigns, webinar coordination, SEO awareness
- Experience with simple scripting or integrations (Python, SQL, REST APIs) a plus
- Local language fluency
- Commission/bonus structure tied to sales KPIs and marketing-sourced pipeline
- Number of qualified technical demos / PoCs completed
- Demo-to-win conversion rate
- Contribution to marketing-sourced pipeline and MQL → SQL conversion
- Time-to-resolution for technical RFP responses
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT) for technical engagements
