JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who will lead the company's financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with government regulations. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting team, support management decisions, and improve the company's financial processes and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure accurate and timely closing of books
Monitor cash flow and financial performance
Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Accounting OperationsOversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll, and general ledger
Ensure proper recording of all transactions and maintain updated financial records
Improve accounting processes and internal controls
Coordinate with billers and other accounting staff to ensure accurate billing and collection
Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with BIR and government regulations
Prepare and oversee tax filings, remittances, and audits
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and government agencies
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, lead, and mentor accounting staff
Conduct performance reviews and provide training
Collaborate closely with other departments on finance-related matters
Other TasksMaintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information
Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management
Support business planning, costing, and special projects
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage; non-CPA applicants are welcome provided they have relevant experience, preferably in the security industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and internal controls
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Can work onsite and willing to render extended hours if needed
