Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Independent Contractor) to join our onsite team in Makati City. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, collecting, cleaning, transforming, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable market insights that drive strategic decisions for clients.
You will work with large datasets, build analytical models, develop dashboards, and translate data into compelling business intelligence reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, validate, and transform raw data from multiple sources
- Use SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data manipulation and analysis
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint
- Develop data models and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and insights
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Sales)
- Create high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentation decks for stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and documentation standards
- Support pilot projects and contribute to new analytics and market intelligence solutions
- Identify automation opportunities and process improvement initiatives
- Strong systems thinking: understands how data, processes, and business drivers connect
- Analytical mindset with solid grounding in statistics and quantitative reasoning
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving to complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail with a results-driven approach
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and large, unstructured datasets
- Strong storytelling ability—can simplify complex data into business insights
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA, Complex Formulas)
- SQL (data extraction, querying, joins, optimization)
- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib or similar libraries)
- Power BI / Data Visualization Tools
- SharePoint Dashboards and Office 365 tools
- Experience working with large datasets and data transformation workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, or Data Visualization roles
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and analytical models
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in fast-paced, data-intensive environments
- Background in market intelligence, simulation modeling, or strategy analytics
- Exposure to algorithmic thinking, trading models, or structured dataset analysis
- Experience handling or scraping large-scale datasets from multiple sources
