YOUR ROLE
Being part of the global Application Production Services (APS) team, this role is responsible for the production support services for the CEVA financial applications, also referred to as Corporate Solutions.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Perform production services for CEVA global Finance applications including but not limited to Medius, Web3, Oracle JDEdwards, Lynx and banking/treasury applications.
- 2nd line support (Incident tickets and Service Requests), application & interface monitoring and issue follow up.
- Works on Problem ticket management, changes and continuous improvement. Participates in internal Application Production Systems (APS) projects and initiatives.
- Coordinates application and infrastructure maintenance with Business and Infrastructure teams.
- Creation of statistics and maintenance of system documentation.
- Requires an understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements, resolve issues and execute service requests.
- Applies standard IT methods, knowledge and CEVA standards and practices to tasks and situations.
- Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response. Uses standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve the broad range of application problems
- Provide on-call support for assigned functional areas and applications on regular basis. Ability to accommodate flexible work schedules to meet support levels for globally deployed applications
- Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes. Also maintaining the required application and support documentation.
- Degree in IT or Business (Finance or Business Administration), or equivalent experience
- 3-8 years of diverse IT and/or Support experience encompassing infrastructure, applications, operations and business experience
- Experience and/or interest in Automation and AI tools used to automate and support of the IT Support operations.
- Basic knowledge of Server OS like Windows, Unix/Linux or CentOS. Familiar with SQL and DBs (any of Oracle, DB2 or (my)SQL Server)
- Able to translate technical terms to operational teams and vice versa.
- Possess analytical skills enabling troubleshooting on software.
- Capable of delivering written and graphical work products and presentation materials.
- Capable in presenting to internal / external stakeholders in formal or informal situations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Skype for business
- Experience with Financial applications and processes
- Additional infrastructure technologies like Citrix and principles of Active Directory.
- ITIL concepts
- Excellent proficiency in English language.
- Possess excellent follow-up skills.

- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to learn new applications and responsibilities through cross training and by the job
