Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor at Metro Mobilia Inc. oversees daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance, supervises accounting staff, and provides financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective accounting system aligned with the organization’s processes.
• Prepare financial statements and accounting records, including income tax returns based on accounting data.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.

• Examine and review financial accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Support the organization in maintaining transparent and reliable financial reporting.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Monitor inward remittances and cash movements to ensure proper recording.

• Schedule and process payments and financial obligations.
• Prepare and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reports.

• Provide financial insights, reports, and analysis to assist management in strategic decision-making.

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, reporting frameworks, and internal control procedures.

• Ensure all accounting functions are properly executed by accounting personnel.
• Provide guidance and support to maintain efficient accounting operations.

• CPA license is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in retail, furniture, trading, or inventory-based businesses, with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP accounting system is required.
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills
