Assistant Manager (Pod Lead)

As an Assistant Manager (Pod Lead), you will oversee accounting engagements while leading and developing a team. You will ensure high-quality delivery of Australian tax and advisory services across multiple clients.

• Deliver Australian tax and accounting advice to a diverse client portfolio, including:
• SMEs
• Family and privately owned businesses
• Trusts and partnerships
• Foreign subsidiaries
• Small listed entities
• Develop technical expertise in:
• Australian tax compliance
• Accounting
• Business advisory services for middle-market clients
• Lead and manage accounting engagements from start to finish
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders, including presentations and meetings with senior leaders
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely service delivery

• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation
• 4–5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or advisory within a corporate or professional services environment
• CA or equivalent qualification (completed or in progress)
• Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
