• Strong advanced Excel skills; VBA and SQL knowledge is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in a systems analyst role, ideally in mortgage or financial services
• Knowledge of lending rules and servicing calculations
• Independent, proactive, and self-motivated
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written
• Ability to collect, interpret, and document business requirements effectively
• Strong deadline management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• High standards of professionalism, organization, and work ethic

Your Daily Tasks

• Reverse engineer lender Excel calculators to match internal systems
• Create accurate Excel-based servicing calculations using lender data and documentation
• Make informed assumptions based on lender guidelines
• Build complex spreadsheets using advanced Excel formulas (no macros or pivot tables)
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of all calculations

• Manage testing phases for new Excel spreadsheets to verify correct outputs
• Collaborate with teams to integrate spreadsheets into internal systems (BP)
• Oversee spreadsheet release processes and ensure full testing of updates

• Work with Lending Services to align Excel models with lender rules and platform requirements
• Communicate clearly to gather requirements and resolve constraints

• Provide proactive system administration support to Operations and other business units
• Respond to service issues and requests within SLA timelines
• Escalate issues appropriately for resolution
• Maintain accuracy in data requests, reporting, and analysis

• Document technical procedures for managed systems
• Collect requirements to recommend and implement broker system improvements
• Support system architecture changes for business updates
• Identify internal training needs for system use

• Protect company information assets from loss or damage
