Data Analyst

Job Description:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to support business decision-making for Red Planet Hotels. You will work closely with different teams to provide insights, generate reports, and identify trends that drive business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including hotel management systems, booking platforms, and financial records.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide real-time insights into hotel performance, occupancy rates, revenue, and guest behavior.
• Identify trends, correlations, and patterns to support business strategies and decision-making.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to analyze customer data, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Support revenue management by analyzing pricing strategies, demand forecasts, and competitor data.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with company policies.
• Automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency using analytics tools.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the hospitality, travel, or real estate industry.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Must know how to use PowerBI or other similar data analytics technology.
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data forecasting techniques.
• Experience working with hotel management systems (e.g., PMS, CRM, or revenue management tools) is an advantage.
