Junior Financial Analyst
Pointwest is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst who will provide financial insights, support strategic planning, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong grasp of financial reporting, modeling, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide analytical, forecasting, and project support to senior management
- Prepare financial reports and variance analyses
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of historical and current financial data
- Develop financial models to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial standards and maintain data confidentiality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data gathering and reporting
- Propose improvements to financial processes and reporting methods
- Accuracy and timeliness of reports and forecasts
- Value and relevance of insights shared with stakeholders
- Contribution to financial strategy and process improvement
- Ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (Fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial/statistical tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- High attention to detail, multitasking, and strategic thinking
- Ability to handle confidential data and work in a dynamic environment
