The Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The role includes recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing reports, monitoring financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards, and providing administrative and accounting support to various departments.The Accounting Officer also assists in maintaining accurate records and contributes to the efficient and timely completion of accounting processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
