Job Summary:
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed safely, within budget, and according to approved designs and quality standards. The role involves site coordination, supervision, reporting, and quality assurance/control, with close collaboration with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Documentation- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Certificate of Completion (COC), and Accomplishment Reports.
- Prepare and submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
- Prepare weekly reports for site progress, budget, and issues.
- Prepare and fill out Material Withdrawal Slips for items taken from inventory or warehouse for site use.
- Complete Material Transmittal Forms to document delivery or transfer of materials to the site or between departments.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, procurement, and project teams to verify material availability and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate project operations, including materials, labor, suppliers, and other management concerns.
- Conduct site coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Monitor budget and project timelines, ensuring cost and schedule adherence.
- Process and review weekly payroll for site personnel.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
- With 1-5 years of site experience.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, QA/QC standards, and Philippine building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design related to drafting tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- COSH certification (optional but preferred).
- With Driver’s License (optional but preferred).
