Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct power capacity assessments for telecom sites to ensure AC/DC systems can support additional equipment
- Perform load calculations and power dimensioning for macro and micro cell sites
- Design and implement power upgrade solutions including rectifier expansions, battery replacements, and transformer upgrades
- Review and approve Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSR) and Change Application Forms (CAF) related to power requirements
- Create and manage Service Orders (SO) in ServiceNow and prepare Methods of Procedure (MOP) for high-risk power activities
- Monitor delivery, installation, and audit of power-related materials to ensure compliance with approved site configurations
- Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and utility providers to support successful project implementation
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is an advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Telecom Power Systems or Facility Engineering
- Strong experience in power dimensioning, load calculation, and end-to-end power upgrades
- Advanced knowledge of DC Power Systems, Rectifiers, -48V systems, AC Distribution, ATS, and Diesel Generators
- Experience with VRLA and Lithium-Ion battery backup systems
- Proficient in reviewing TSSR, CAF, and preparing MOP documentation
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow for SO management and asset tracking
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
- Driving skills and a valid driver's license are an advantage
