About the Role
Portmizer Philippines Corporation is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician (Welder) to join our growing service team. The role focuses on welding, fabrication, repair, preventive maintenance, and technical support for heavy equipment used in ports and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform welding, fabrication, assembly, and repair of heavy equipment and machine components.
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Assist in commissioning and servicing of heavy equipment such as Reach Stackers, Forklifts, and Terminal Tractors.
- Prepare and submit service reports and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and coordinate with customers and team members during on-site service activities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
- Possession of a Welding NC II Certificate is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or heavy equipment servicing.
- Graduate of Heavy Equipment Servicing NC II, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or Vocational Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Technology.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, mechanical systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in servicing heavy equipment is an advantage.
- Willing to travel and work on-site.
- Team player with good communication skills.
