Head of Human Resources (GBS / Shared Services / Captive / BPO)
About the Role
We are partnering with a well-established, internationally operating business process outsourcing and shared services organization with a significant footprint in the Philippines. The company supports clients across APAC, North America, and Europe and operates in a fast-paced, compliance-driven, people-intensive environment.
They are currently seeking an experienced Head of People and Culture to lead the full people agenda for their Philippine operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for both strategic HR leadership and hands-on operational delivery across a large, multi-site workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end leadership of People & Culture across multiple Philippine entities
- Drive HR strategy aligned to business growth, client delivery, and compliance requirements
- Lead culture, engagement, retention, and employee experience initiatives
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Manage learning, development, and performance frameworks
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulatory standards
- Lead employee relations, labor relations, and crisis management when required
- Champion DEI, wellbeing, and health & safety programs
- Utilize people analytics and HR technology to support decision-making
- Act as a trusted partner to senior Philippine and offshore leadership teams
- Oversight of approximately 870 employees across Metro Manila and Clark
- Lead a People & Culture team of 20, including 5 direct reports
- Regular collaboration with senior leaders based in the Philippines and offshore
- Location: McKinley Hill, Taguig (primary site)
- Travel: Monthly visits to Clark; occasional international travel
- Shift: Day shift aligned to Australian business hours
- Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Senior HR leadership experience within BPO, shared services, or large-scale services environments
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compliance, and HR operations
- Proven experience managing large, diverse workforces
- Track record of leading HR transformation and change initiatives
- Commercially minded, people-centric leader with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with offshore or international leadership teams is highly preferred
