About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established, internationally operating business process outsourcing and shared services organization with a significant footprint in the Philippines. The company supports clients across APAC, North America, and Europe and operates in a fast-paced, compliance-driven, people-intensive environment.

They are currently seeking an experienced Head of People and Culture to lead the full people agenda for their Philippine operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for both strategic HR leadership and hands-on operational delivery across a large, multi-site workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end leadership of People & Culture across multiple Philippine entities
  • Drive HR strategy aligned to business growth, client delivery, and compliance requirements
  • Lead culture, engagement, retention, and employee experience initiatives
  • Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Manage learning, development, and performance frameworks
  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulatory standards
  • Lead employee relations, labor relations, and crisis management when required
  • Champion DEI, wellbeing, and health & safety programs
  • Utilize people analytics and HR technology to support decision-making
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior Philippine and offshore leadership teams
Team & Scope
  • Oversight of approximately 870 employees across Metro Manila and Clark
  • Lead a People & Culture team of 20, including 5 direct reports
  • Regular collaboration with senior leaders based in the Philippines and offshore
Location & Work Arrangement
  • Location: McKinley Hill, Taguig (primary site)
  • Travel: Monthly visits to Clark; occasional international travel
  • Shift: Day shift aligned to Australian business hours
  • Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
What We’re Looking For
  • Senior HR leadership experience within BPO, shared services, or large-scale services environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compliance, and HR operations
  • Proven experience managing large, diverse workforces
  • Track record of leading HR transformation and change initiatives
  • Commercially minded, people-centric leader with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with offshore or international leadership teams is highly preferred
