Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the organization’s network, systems, and applications to ensure security and optimal performance
- Implement, configure, and manage firewalls, antivirus programs, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate threats
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, breaches, and alerts promptly
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols across the organization
- Maintain access control systems, ensuring proper user authentication and authorization
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies
- Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices and safe digital behavior
- Keep up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
- Prepare and maintain reports on security incidents, system vulnerabilities, and mitigation actions
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and other departments to safeguard sensitive information and ensure business continuity
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to cybersecurity
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT administration
