Job Description:

We are looking for support in identifying and engaging mid-to-senior level engineering and manufacturing professionals for UK-based roles — including design, operations, quality, and technical leadership.

You’ll be working on the Connect product, which emphasizes human-led, candidate-first recruitment. This means understanding each role from the candidate’s perspective, not just matching skills to a checklist.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to understand the real-world context behind each role (we’ll provide recorded briefings).
• Source passive candidates using LinkedIn, Boolean searches, niche job boards, and internal databases.
• Evaluate candidates beyond titles and skills, considering factors like:
• Relevant industry exposure (e.g., aerospace, precision manufacturing, medical devices)
• Evidence of solving real problems, not just job-hopping
• Team size, leadership responsibilities, and balance of hands-on vs. strategic work
• Pre-screen candidates with empathy and curiosity, using a structured question framework to uncover motivations (e.g., frustration, stagnation, poor management).
• Summarize findings in a clear, candidate-first format — focusing on why they’d consider moving, not just what’s on their CV.

Skills Qualifications:

• 5–8 strong potential candidates per role, identified within the first 7–10 days
• Clear, well-written notes highlighting motivations, fit, and risks
• Active collaboration — asking questions and providing feedback on role viability, not just taking orders

Qualification and requirements:

• 2+ years of experience sourcing engineering/manufacturing talent (ideally for UK or similar markets)
• Comfort working with ambiguous or incomplete job specs
• Great written English
• Curiosity. We’re not looking for a human keyword filter.
