We’re looking for an experienced Australian Healthcare Administration Virtual Assistant to support a busy allied health practice. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in an Australian doctor’s clinic, physiotherapy, podiatry, or similar setting, with a strong understanding of Medicare processes and clinical software.

Job Highlights
  • Monthly Rate: Approximately PHP 48,000
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule:
Option 1: Split shift (6am-10am and 6pm-10pm PM AEST)
Option 2: Standard shift (7am - 4pm PM AEST, including 1-hour break)
Client Timezone: Brisbane/AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage practice operations during critical early morning hours
  • Process and organize patient-related administrative requests efficiently
  • Maintain and optimize appointment scheduling systems
  • Handle Medicare-related documentation and processing
  • Collaborate with on-site administrative team members
  • Manage clinical software systems and digital healthcare records
  • Ensure smooth information flow between virtual and on-site operations
  • Support practice growth through efficient administrative processes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through our digital learning platform
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in Australian healthcare administration
  • MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare systems and processes
  • Proficiency with clinical software systems and digital healthcare tools
  • Comfortable with technology and digital systems
  • Professional approach to healthcare administration
  • Immediate availability
  • Flexibility to work specified shift patterns
