Logistic Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role supervises logistics personnel, monitors performance, and ensures compliance with company policies and operational standards to achieve timely and accurate delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

• Supervise daily logistics activities including receiving, sorting, dispatching, and delivery of parcels or goods
• Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse, transport, and delivery teams
• Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery

1. Team Supervision

• Lead, train, and monitor logistics staff and riders/drivers
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed

1. Inventory & Documentation

• Ensure accurate documentation of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse team for replenishment
• Maintain records of all logistics transactions

1. Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency
• Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain operations

1. Customer Service & Issue Resolution

• Address delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve logistics-related concerns
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations
• With supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and leadership abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems
