Maintenance Engineer

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer at Noble Hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel's infrastructure and systems. In this full-time position based in Cebu Central Visayas, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, contributing to the overall guest experience and the success of our establishment.

1. Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions, and carry out the necessary repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner
3. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance or repair work
4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, costs, and spare parts inventory
5. Identify and implement opportunities for improving the efficiency and sustainability of the hotel's systems
6. Assist with the planning and execution of renovation and construction projects
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the hospitality industry or a similar field
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
4. Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
6. Commitment to maintaining a safe and well-organised work environment
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
