Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer with strong HVAC expertise to support the daily operations of our restaurant facilities. The role is responsible for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems are operating efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation, and exhaust systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment such as walk-in chillers and freezers
- Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Ensure proper operation of kitchen exhaust hoods and ventilation systems
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and service records
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and energy efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Engineer is an advantage but not required
- At least 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or commercial facilities
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and basic fire protection systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
