Assistant cook

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Cook to join our dynamic team at St. Luke's Medical Center. This is a probationary role, offering flexible work arrangements to support your work-life balance.

• Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes for our in-house restaurant and patient meals
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient and organized workflow
• Support the smooth running of the kitchen by undertaking various kitchen duties as required
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance our menu and improve kitchen operations

• College level or College graduate
• At least 1 year experience as an Assistant Cook
• Experience working in industrial setup kitchen
• With relevant food industry experience preferably hot kitchen
• Strong practical cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Willing to work in BGC, Taguig
• Can start ASAP
