Marketing Virtual Assistant

The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable building and improving processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize a weekly newsletter operation running on Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
• Support LinkedIn content campaigns and personal brand promotion efforts
• Help streamline and improve content workflows from drafting through to publishing
• Assist with content repurposing across LinkedIn, newsletter, and other channels
• Build and document SOPs for recurring marketing and content tasks
• Coordinate with the consultant to keep the content pipeline consistently on schedule
• Track newsletter performance metrics and propose meaningful optimizations
• Take on additional marketing and administrative tasks as the scope of the role expands over time
• Proactively identify tasks that can be systematized or delegated to save time and improve efficiency

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in a Marketing VA, Content VA, or comparable support role
• Hands-on experience with Kit (ConvertKit) or a comparable email marketing platform such as Mailchimp, Substack, Beehiiv, or ActiveCampaign
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a content and personal brand platform
• Ability to build, document, and continuously improve SOPs for recurring workflows
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to sustain quality output consistently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience supporting solopreneurs, consultants, or B2B service providers
• Familiarity with LinkedIn content strategy, scheduling tools, and analytics
• Working knowledge of AI tools for content drafting, editing, and workflow automation
• Experience with newsletter growth strategies, audience segmentation, and performance tracking
• Background supporting marketing and sales projects for B2B or B2C clients
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as responsibilities evolve and expand
