Senior QA Tester

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive test cases, ensuring coverage across UI, API, and database layers.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites where applicable.
• Ensure full traceability of test cases to functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate the integrity of system integrations and identify potential communication risks between components.
• Perform security testing, including validation of authentication, authorisation mechanisms, and access control vulnerabilities.
• Investigate backend behaviour, including data consistency, transaction failures, and potential security bypass scenarios.
• Analyse test results, report quality metrics, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
• Build a strong understanding of the overall ecosystem and system under test, including dependencies across multiple components.
• Analyse the testing scope based on SIT findings and system behaviour, ensuring key risk areas are well covered.
• Proactively assess impacts of changes across the ecosystem and ensure regression areas are adequately validated.

WORK DETAILS:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needs
• Location: Makati | *Work from Home Until Further Notice
• Status: Contract
