Supply Chain Associate (Quality Control)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct regular quality control (QC) inspections for newly delivered items under Global Stocks in accordance with the organization standards.
• Perform spot checks on prepositioned stocks to assess adherence to quality while on storage.
• Review documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of QC all reports.

• Identify deviations from agreed specifications; document findings clearly and provide detailed reports to the QA/QC Associate.
• Analyse QC data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare summary reports highlighting findings, root causes, and preliminary recommendations for corrective action.

• Assist in developing and updating QC checklists, tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL).
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPs) by monitoring progress and verifying resolution of identified issues.
• Provide guidance to program staff on quality requirements and support capacity-building activities on QC processes as needed.
• Perform other related duties as may be required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completed secondary education required
• Bachelor degree from an accredited academic institution; or,
• Completed High school degree from accredited academic institution, with three (3) years of relevant professional experience.

• Three (3) years of working experience with secondary education; one (1) year of working experience with Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with UN agencies or international non-governmental organizations is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting audits, inspections, or quality reviews.

• Knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, AQL, etc).
• Familiarity with UN system policies, humanitarian standards, and accountability frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management systems.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and present findings to stakeholders.
