We are looking for a Serviceability engineer that will be responsible for defining the appropriate service parts (field replaceable units), diagnostic process, and information development for each product. The primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of NPI and sustaining serviceability requirements for all OEM products.
As a Serviceability Engineer, you will:
For New Products:
- Create and manage the service parts list (FRUs and CRUs).
- Conduct Design for Serviceability review with development team.
- Collaborate with the WW serviceability engineering team to ensure the proper Enovia supporting material connections.
- Create service diagnostics specs.
- Conduct validation and verification of FRUs.
- Provide technical and serviceability inputs to service information development.
- Conduct validation and verification to service information products.
For Sustaining Products:
- Ensure service part related ECs account for the product requirements and communicate these changes to appropriate teams.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of service manual updates in collaboration with the Content Design team.
Other Serviceability Tasks:
- EC review and task tracking.
- Conduct photo and video service removals shoot.
- Enovia supporting materials setup and analysis.
You will be a great fit for our team if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering degrees.
- Strong technical background in product development process with experience in hardware imaging design and development is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with direct and cross-functional teams.
- High sense of accountability and a solid team player.
- Effective communication and collaboration across diverse and worldwide teams.
