To successfully push forward in this challenging business, we are looking for a competent Accounting Supervisor to help drive our business forward in a challenging and fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective cost control, all of which support the

efficiency and continuity of our manufacturing operations.

Job description
  • Department Oversight and Process Management
  • Oversee daily departmental processes to ensure transactions and functions are executed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency in work.
  • Identify weak areas in accounting, purchasing and logistics operations and propose improvement measures.
  • Financial Planning and Reporting
  • Prepare projected cash flow reports and monitor actual expenditures to ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Maintain and communicate intercompany transaction reports to counterpart abroad.
  • Track and update the progress of accounting objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Suggest improvements on reporting and data presentation.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Management
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, especially with BIR regulations.
  • Prepare manual sales invoices in accordance with the latest BIR guidelines to ensure compliance with government invoicing standards.
  • Participate in regular tax audits and provide required documentation.
  • Payroll and HR Coordination
  • Sort out and reconcile payroll reports then, prepare corresponding payroll entries.
  • Maintain effective communication with HR to ensure alignment between statutory reports and payroll entries.
  • Accounting and Audit Operations
  • Reconcile client, sample, marketing, and R&D reports against Epicor system records.
  • Review and approve cheque vouchers, adjustments, payments, and journal entries.
  • Review CA liquidation summaries for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare annual withholding tax compensation computations.
  • Reconcile and review logistics cost entries.
  • Assist in developing financial statements and reports.
  • Policy Development and Internal Controls
  • Help establish accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
  • Assist and collaborate in the development of management review reports.
  • Lead and support documentation for hazard identification, environmental impact assessments, and other ISO-related requirements in the designated group area.
  • Suggest subordinate training programs and team improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Perform other supervisory tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial and operational alignment.
Qualifications and experience
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably Epicor) and Microsoft office applications particularly excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with import and export regulations.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality standards and documentation is an advantage.
  • Preferably with 1 – 3 years of work experience as a supervisor.
