About the role
RVS CARGO SERVICES INC. is seeking a skilled Chinese Mandarin and English Translator to join our team in Binondo, Manila City Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that will play a vital part in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
What you'll be doing- Providing accurate and timely translations of written documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, between Chinese Mandarin and English
- Interpreting verbal conversations and meetings between Chinese and English speakers
- Ensuring consistent terminology and tone across all translated materials
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand context and produce high-quality translations
- Staying up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Fluency in both Chinese Mandarin and English, with the ability to translate flawlessly between the two languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Experience in a similar translation or interpretation role, preferably in a business or commercial setting
- Familiarity with translation software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field is preferred
