About the role

De Castro Consulting is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work both in our office and remotely, depending on your role requirements and personal circumstances.
As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our human resources strategy and supporting the organisation's growth objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing core HR functions, driving employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

This is a key leadership position that directly impacts our organisational culture and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement and manage comprehensive HR policies, procedures and programmes that align with organisational objectives and employment laws
  2. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job analysis, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding of new employees
  3. Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
  4. Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements
  5. Lead and coordinate employee engagement and development initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
  6. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  7. Provide strategic HR advisory services to senior management on organisational matters
  8. Monitor and report on HR metrics, including turnover, engagement scores and recruitment timelines
  9. Ensure compliance with labour laws, industry regulations and internal policies across all HR functions
  10. Collaborate with department heads to identify talent development needs and implement training programmes
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or senior HR role
  3. Demonstrated expertise in HR consulting, generalised HR functions, or advisory services within the Philippines context
  4. Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations and compliance requirements
  5. Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, including experience with various recruitment channels and methodologies
  6. Experience in employee relations, performance management and organisational development
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all organisational levels
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in data-driven HR decision making
  9. Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications
  10. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
  11. Professional HR certification (such as CHRP, CIPD, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
