We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Corporate Finance Team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead, this role will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.The role forms a key part in ensuring the integrity of the company’s finances and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.
Key responsibilities- Process a large volume of supplier invoices, credits and statements accurately
- Maintain accounts payable records to ensure accurate and reliable ledgers
- Record supplier payments, including updating bank statement entries and remittances
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, responding to queries and actioning tasks
- Maintain accurate filing of financial documentation
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Assist with accounts payable reporting
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in accounts payable, accounting or a relevant role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline (desirable)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (desirable)
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Excel and finance systems
