About the role
K.J. Construction is seeking an experienced Architect to join our dynamic team in Minglanilla, Cebu. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to shape the built environment and contribute to significant construction projects in the region.As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative structures that meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and aesthetic standards. You will be at the forefront of translating concepts into functional, beautiful spaces that impact communities and drive the success of our organisation.
Key responsibilities- Develop comprehensive architectural designs and drawings using CAD software and other design tools, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
- Prepare detailed architectural documentation, specifications and construction drawings for contractors and regulatory submissions
- Manage design phases from concept through construction administration, providing technical expertise and oversight
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks during construction to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications
- Stay current with architectural trends, building materials and sustainable design practices to enhance project outcomes
- Assist in proposal development and presentations to prospective clients
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and familiarity with BIM tools and design software
- Strong knowledge of Philippine building codes, zoning regulations and construction standards
- Demonstrated experience in residential, commercial or mixed-use development projects
- Excellent technical drawing and spatial visualisation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality
- Experience with sustainable design principles and green building practices is highly valued
